Common Study Areas
In line with the needs of our students, a common study area has been established in the Old Fire Station Building and made available for student use. In addition, a section of the cafeteria area located in the University’s Main Factory Building serves as a study space for students except lunch time. Furthermore, the student center established within our university also functions as a common study area.
Computer Laboratories
For the department’s applied courses that require the use of computer laboratories, there are 150 computers available across 4 different labs, each equipped with the necessary software installed by the IT Department.
Classrooms
In order to ensure more efficient and effective use of resources at our university, classrooms are assigned to departments each semester based on their needs. For the 2024–2025 academic year, three classrooms with capacities of 65, 46, and 44 students, respectively, have been allocated to our department. When these classrooms are insufficient, common classrooms are used.
In line with the hybrid education model adopted by our university, the classrooms in our buildings have been converted into HyFlex classrooms by our unit. The HyFlex experience classroom, with its flexible structure and comprehensive technical infrastructure, aims to integrate all teaching and learning activities both technically and pedagogically, thereby offering a holistic perspective (Evidence 6.1.1).
