Assoc. Prof. Kübra ŞİMŞEK participated in the 1st National Artificial Intelligence Meeting held on October 17-18 at Cappadocia University. The event was organized in collaboration with AI TR, KUIS AI Center, AI Factory, Istanbul Technical University (ITU), and Cappadocia University. Many important and recent discussions were held on the critical role of artificial intelligence plays in academia and society. Autonomous systems and robotics, image and video processing, generative AI and language models, perception management, and social manipulation were explored in depth. Additionally, valuable sessions were held on responsible AI, ethical issues, public policies related to AI, and the role of AI in the art world. This content-rich meeting provided significant insights into the current and future impacts of artificial intelligence.
